This is a hop and a skip from the cabin, but if you’re in the mood for Asian cuisine — Chinese, Japanese, Thai, this is it. Asiano is a jack-of-all-trades Asian restaurant to scratch your Mongolian beef or Pad Thai itch. The service is friendly, the ambiance is completely in character, and the food is the tip of diversity. If you need a break from the usual fare, this is it.

One of the highest-rated places to eat and for good reason. The ambiance is warm, the food is a notch up for lunch — mushroom bisque(!) and the melt sandwiches are phenomenal, and the service is on point. It can get crowded and jammed up at times, but there’s a free arcade with lots of games to keep you occupied. Definitely grab lunch here.

This place is an amazing hang! Good for live music, large parties, or even a place to kick to it with a few friends. There are some great brews and the Philly cheese steak was pretty good!

I don’t know about you, but Mexican food is one of those rare cuisines where everyone in the family can leave happy — starting with chips and salsa and down to the last Modelo. This is just a few minutes from the cabin, but it is so worth it. Bright, happy ambiance, good food, and warm service. Do stop by.

I’ll be honest — they had me at the name. I wanted to know why the Chicken was angry, and I think it would just be angry if you didn’t go. So I recommend this as a lunch place over dinner, but the chicken is a great alternative to franchise chains like Zaxby’s or others. Friendly staff and generous portions make a worthwhile joint, even though it’s a little further out from the cabin, about 10 minutes away, which feels pretty far sometimes.
